Lake Most can be found under Hněvín Hill in close proximity to the moved Assumption of the Virgin Mary church. The lake was created by the reclamation of a former lignite mine on the site of the former royal city of Most. With an area of approximately 310 hectares, Lake Most is the second largest lake in the Czech Republic.

The town of Most is located in the northwestern part of the Czech Republic in the Ústí Region. The history of the Bridge dates back to the Middle Ages. The city was founded around the medieval Hněvín castle, which still dominates the city skyline.

In the 20th century, the city of Most became the center of brown coal mining and industrial development. This industrial heritage is still evident in former coal mines that have been closed and converted into recreational and cultural spaces. One of the best-known examples is the water reservoir and recreational area Mostecká panev, which offers swimming, water sports and cycling.

Not far from the city are the beautiful Ore Mountains, which attract nature lovers.
