The village of Prostřední Bečva is an important recreational and tourist destination in the landscape of the Western Beskydy Mountains. Above the village is a distinctive Radhošť ridge, where between the peaks of Radegast and Tanečnice there is a mountain saddle called Pustevny (1018 m above sea level).

Pustevny near Radhoště is a very attractive place for trips in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy with beautiful views of the valley. The hermitages were named after the hermits who lived here until 1874 and today belong to the village of Prostřední Bečva. Typical for Pustevny are wooden buildings built in the style of folk art nouveau at the end of the 19th century on the design of Dušan Jurkovič. Tourists and excursionists can take a cable car to the settlement near the mountain Radhošť, come on foot, cross-country skiing in winter and cycling in summer. The most famous symbol of the entire Moravian-Silesian region is the statue of Radegast, which tourists pass on the way to Radhošť.

The buildings in Pustevny - the Libušín restaurant and the Maměnka hotel were built in 1899. The buildings have become National Cultural Monuments, managed by the Wallachian Open-Air Museum. The mountain hotel Tanečnica and the hotel Radegast were gradually added to Libušín and Maměnka. The wooden buildings designed by the architect Dušan Jurkovič in Pustevny include a hundred-year-old wooden bell tower.
